Groups of expert meditators pacify trouble spots in Ecuador

Ecuador’s military peace project comprises the military police using group meditation. The objective, based on fifty research studies, is to use group meditation as a peacemaking tool.
Specifically the type of meditation being used creates what is called the Super Radiance effect. (What is the Super Radiance effect?)
Ecuador’s population is 14.5 million. So, to achieve the Super Radiance effect, all the country needs is 382 expert meditators known as TM-Sidhas (What is a TM-Sidha?).
The number 382 equates to the square root of 1% of Ecuador’s population. As it happens, previous research shows that when the square root of 1% of a population practice the TM-Sidhi meditation program together as a group, there is a profound and dramatic change in society.
Basically the enhanced brain wave coherence experienced by the expert meditators doesn’t just help them. What also happens is that the brain wave coherence created by their meditation radiates across society. This stimulates similar if diluted brain wave coherence in the rest of the population. The result is an immediate breakthrough in the level of peace and positivity in the rest of society (See peace research summaries).
Ecuador’s military peace project – Test case
As a test case, in March 2010, commanders selected two units from basic military training centers.
Experts taught two units of 300 soldiers the meditation technique known as Transcendental Meditation or TM as it is often called. Since then, 200 soldiers from each unit have gone on to learn the more advanced form of meditation to become TM-Sidhas.
After one month of practice, army psychologists carried out a test. The idea was to check the validity of the program on the individual participants.
From self-assessment reports the psychologists found that:
- 96% thought TM was a very practical activity.
- 95% said TM was completely satisfying.
- 92% said they handled stress better and experienced improved performance in activity.
- 96% reported that they had improved their personal and working relationships.

Implementation at the Military Academy
Based on these test results, the commanding officer decided that:
1. The Transcendental Meditation technique and its advanced practices The TM-Sidhi program, would be taught to the two training units to achieve immediate invincibility for Ecuador.
2. The military police should consider implementing the program at the national officer training academy as part of the students’ four years of training.
They appointed new officers were to participate in the program. Currently 339 are becoming TM-Sidhas. Another 400 will be added later in the year so that there will be 739 TM-Sidhas at the academy. The goal is to have at least 1,000 TM-Sidhas regularly practicing the TM-Sidhi program.
The army now uses groups of TM-Sidhas to pacify trouble spots in Ecuador.
