Stop the war in Iran with $5 million – Seriously
Given the enormous costs of modern warfare, you may well ask how can we stop the war in Iran with $5 million? To put this claim into perspective, the USA spent roughly $2 billion every day during the intense first 40 days of the Iran/USA war. As $5 million is no more than one quarter of one percent of one single day’s expenses in people, equipment, munitions and other resources, how can such a small sum make such an impact on a modern large-scale war?
It only takes a chink of light to dispel the darkness

Well, the simple fact is that mankind has now acquired the technology to stop not just this war, but all wars, now and in the future.
What is more, investing this same $5 million in a totally new technology will at the same time reverse other negative global trends. To name a few these would include boosting economic prosperity, reducing crime, improving quality of life indicators, eradicating terrorism, and harmonising international relations. Generally, it will launch mankind on to a higher evolutionary path.
So, in other words, for the cost of a solitary Patriot missile we could enjoy the long yearned for blessing of ‘peace on earth and goodwill to all men’. Something of a bargain, you might think. But there are several reasons why, compared with modern military spending, this technology is laughingly cheap to adopt.
“You can’t solve a problem with the same thinking that created it” – Albert Einstein
At present, both sides of the Iranian conflict are trying to achieve their aims with conventional technology. Whilst as inferred above, stopping it quickly, involves diving down into a completely different realm of technology. Incidentally, this ‘new’ technology isn’t really new at all and is actually a revival of ancient knowledge. Significantly however, modern scientific theory is validating this recent revival. There is also extensive field research that proves it’s efficacy.
Importantly, another happy plus with this new technology is that it is relatively straightforward to use. In a very real sense, it is accessible to anyone with a kind heart, an open mind and a functioning human brain.
OK, I accept this all sounds too good to be true, so let’s look at the basic science for a minute. What we are referring to is a technology based, not on classical physics, but on a revival of the ancient Vedic understanding of the phenomenon of consciousness.
Consciousness is all there is

In essence the overarching principle driving this technology is the ancient Vedic understanding that consciousness is all there is. This is in the sense that consciousness is seen to be the all-pervasive source and the very raw material of the universe. As such it is present in every mind on the planet as well as every cell and atom in the universe.
In this respect, the human brain is not the originator of consciousness but more like a receptacle of it. Similarly, individual consciousness is not localised within the individual human physical frame but is in effect boundaryless. In essence it is like a drop of water swimming in an ocean of consciousness that makes up the wider universe.
How is this relevant to stopping a war?
When you think about it, if we are all so intimately connected at the most basic level of creation, then this suggests that every individual thought and action interacts in some way with everybody else’s thoughts and actions. But how do we exploit this knowledge to create a peace creating effect?
As you may have already gathered, the technology derived from this deeper understanding of nature is meditation. But here it is important to distinguish between the many different types of meditation. For the purposes of creating a global peace effect, we refer specifically to a method known as Transcendental Meditation and it’s more advanced form the TM-Sidhi programme.
Crucially, all the modern research carried out into the social impact of meditation and groups of meditators has been with these two methods.
TM meditators share their bliss

The point is that under the right conditions, individuals enjoying the blissful inner peace of Transcendental Meditation are at one and the same time naturally and spontaneously sharing this blissful, peaceful state with others. And this transference of brain states can occur even at some distance away.
I appreciate that this sounds fantastic and perhaps even fantastical, but the research findings are unassailable. There are in fact over fifty scientific studies that show that meditators radiate the experience of inner peace to other people. And this occurs across national boundaries and even continents.
The basic unit of world peace is the coherently functioning human brain
We call the extraordinary, positive effect radiated to the rest of society by individual meditators “The Maharishi effect”. This name derives from His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the founder of Transcendental Meditation and the TM-Sidhi Programme. There is yet a more powerful effect made by a group of specially trained meditators. This is called ‘Super Radiance’ or the ‘Extended Maharishi effect’.
So how does it work?
A powerful characteristic of both TM and the TM-Sidhi programme is that the techniques reduce stress and stimulate highly coherent brain waves for the individual practitioner. The significance of this is that a highly coherent brain has access to higher mental and emotional faculties. Such faculties usually lie dormant or are impaired when the brain is in a more stressed state.
However, the intimate connection we have with one another, on the level of consciousness, means that when someone practices TM or the TM-Sidhi programme they don’t just generate highly coherent brainwaves for themselves. The exciting finding of our time is that the meditators also radiate this powerful brainwave effect to other people around them.
The bigger the group the wider the impact
Even more important, in the context of stopping wars, when TM-Sidhas practice in a group their meditation radiates this powerful brainwave effect even further to the surrounding non-meditating population. The bigger the group the wider the impact.
This means that the wider population, whether they realise it or not, start functioning at a higher level of brainwave coherence. Thus, like the meditators, they too benefit from reduced stress. As a result a lot more people find it easier to access their innate higher mental and emotional faculties. What this means is that people within the wider population spontaneously feel more peaceful, more compassionate, and tend to behave more rationally and creatively. In short, they are less inclined to get into conflict with one another.
The square root of 1% impact
The amazing news is that the Maharishi effect occurs when as little as 1% of a population practice TM on a daily basis.
Super Radiance is even more powerful and acts exponentially.
The Super Radiance effect kicks in at the precise moment the numbers in a group of TM-Sidhas reach a size equivalent to the square root of 1% of a given population. At that crucial point there is an immediate and dramatic reduction of stress in the host community. This reduction in stress leads to a commensurate reduction of hostility and violence. Similarly, there is a commensurate surge across society in creative activity and positivity.
The subtle changes triggered in society by these two types of meditation are reliably consistent. As a result, they are measurable by publicly available social and economic statistics. Hence the existence of so much research on the subject.
This consistency is reliable enough for us to predict the general outcome from a group of TM-Sidhas. For instance, we know that with a group of 8,000 TM-Sidhas (The square root of 1% of the world’s population) we will achieve a global effect. Peace will break out everywhere on the planet.
Like all technologies there are constraints
Super radiance is not magic. Unlike a wonderful Harry Potter spell, we cannot, after one lesson in Professor Snape’s defence against the dark arts class, just give a flourish of the wand and chant ‘Expelliarmus’ to immobilise the bad guys. There is a bit more to it than that.
For one thing, becoming proficient with the TM-Sidhi programme takes months of training and practice and perhaps years to master.
Crucially, and as referred to earlier, the Maharishi effect and Super Radiance only work with Transcendental Meditation and the TM-Sidhi programme. There are many different types of meditations available. These include mindfulness meditation, forms of contemplation, concentration techniques, relaxation methods, devotional meditations and so on. The difference between Transcendental Meditation and all the rest is that TM gives the meditator an immediate experience of pure consciousness. It therefore allows the practitioner to access that field of consciousness shared by one and all. This is how TM practitioners enhance the thinking and behaviour of everyone from that level effortlessly and spontaneously.
The Super Radiance effect only takes place under specific conditions.
Another important constraint is that the Super Radiance effect only takes place under specific conditions.
For instance, in order to create a measurable effect for any given population, the group of TM-Sidhi practitioners have to meditate twice daily, every single day. Also, they have to be sitting all in the same place and meditating at the same time.
Obviously, their number has to remain consistent so as to maintain the square root of 1% of the subject population every day.
Perhaps we must also mention that the TM-Sidhas need to be well rested and stable and focused on what they are doing, not distracted unduly by family and career responsibilities. This is why the target for creating world peace is actually for a group of not just 8,000 TM-Sidhas but 10,000. We have to allow for extra numbers for time off through natural attrition, holidays, sickness and so on.
These latter are important factors as they touch on why there is a current need for $5 million.
Progress so far

Over the last four years, The Founders of World Peace have raised $9 million to help assemble several large groups of TM-Sidhas. So far there are eight groups under development in India and one in Mexico. The money is spent on teaching and the acquisition of the necessary meditation facilities.
In India alone this means that 700,000 people have learned to meditate of whom 261,000 have already gone on to learn the TM-Sidhi programme. In Mexico there are now 150,000 new meditators of whom 36,000 have also learned the TM-Sidhi programme. These large numbers of meditators are the necessary raw material for the 10,000 groups. And as a result, further teaching is going on all the time to build the numbers. An important consideration is that a large percentage of these meditators are school children who inevitably leave school on graduation and have to be replaced.
One 10,000 group is assembling already

Amazingly one of the projects has already achieved 10,000 TM-Sidhas. Here, the problem is that these meditators are currently scattered in smaller groups of five hundred or so, over a ten-mile radius. And this means they are unable to create the global Super Radiance effect, at least just yet.
So, the next phase of the development is to build sufficiently large facilities to house 10,000 TM-Sidhas in one building or at least on the same campus. This way they will create a truly focused impact.
Remember, the research is very clear. For Super Radiance to work, the participants have to be in one confined location. Ideally that means being in the same building. But at the very least the TM-Sidhas need to be on the same site.
The next $5 million will not only consolidate the first 10,000 group but will also build in a safety factor by accelerating the development of the other groups. The intention is to build an ever-larger pool of meditators from which to recruit the next wave of TM-Sidhas and complete the other nine groups.
